Discover the Heart of the Matter

Lark Syrris

"The primary purpose of this blog is to provide insight on the underlying core meaning of spiritual and moral issues. Often, we get lost in the details of an issue and miss the essence of it, such as focusing on the letter of the law instead of the intention of it, that is, the problem it is intended solve. We can get stuck on rigid rules of dogma we’ve been taught that may not make sense or help us to be our best selves or to have positive relationships. We can also be easily rendered blind or deaf by our cultural and political biases. This blog questions everything, assumes nothing, and aims to break through cognitive dissonance to clarify the essence of any given issue and to open our hearts and minds as we seek to understand without judgement the heart of the matter. As the author of this blog, I do not claim to have all the answers. Rather, I encourage you to explore and ask your own questions to discover what rings true for you and why," (Lark Syrris).

Lark passed away on February 10th, 2024. Read her obituary here.
